In the wake of the terrorist attack at the IISc, Bangalore, Xserve India - the Bangalore based IT and Communication Solution provider, announced that it will provide surveillance solutions as a ‘Service’ in Bangalore. Announcing this information to the press, Mr. Rahul Gupta, Managing Director of Xserve India said, “We have been selling very advanced surveillance over IP solutions through our channel partners and now we have decided to provide even short term surveillance solutions for any type of applications. Our solutions are based on sophisticated IP camera and advanced MPEG 4 DVR’s (Digital Video Recorders) that can provide real time live viewing as well as the ability to view any recordings done previously. Our surveillance solutions are already installed at many educational institutes, factories, Highways, Banks, Hotels, and Residential Complexes etc. Our advanced solutions also offer facility of viewing live on a PDA”. “All our products and solutions are available for demonstration at our state of the Art ‘Proof of Concept Lab’ in the Bangalore facility” – said Prasana Kumhar, the head of Product management for Xserve India. He demonstrated the live viewing of Mumbai – Pune Toll Gate on his PDA over GPRS. “We are able to achieve such video streaming due to very advanced product design by our sister company AnexTEK Global Inc. in Taiwan” he added . Depending upon the requirements for surveillance on a short term or long term basis, Xserve India will design a customized solution and make the same available for the customers. These services will include real time viewing as well as access to recorded data. Xserve has signed E-Sys as a distribution partner in Dubai for making Storage Solutions, Surveillance Solutions, Security Appliances and Hand Held Enterprise devices available in the Middle East. Xserve is headquartered in Bangalore, India and is the Service, Marketing and Sales arm for few of the top OEM/ODM IT manufacturers including AnexTEK, AOpen, Apacer and S-Media companies from the WISTRON group, Taiwan and the US based FalconStor. Wistron was earlier known as the Design and Manufacturing Division of Acer Group in Taiwan. “E-Sys has been consciously adding value to their business year after year. We are committed to offer products and solutions which are profitable to our channel partners. XSERVE India launches AnexTEK SANGenie 215RE an IDE Based Linux powered NAS solution as an addition to its existing Microsoft WSS 2003 range. Since it was the Institute's Science Day a lot of staff members and students who were present had visited our stall. A few of them also showed interest in our products . We had displayed the Acuta 4, Desk book and Notebook. A few of the top faculty members who visited our stall were very impressed by our product offerings. In fact all the presentations made by the professors during the Science Day Celebrations were on our AOpen notebooks. The stall was represented by Sibasish, Aneesh and Radesh from Xserve India , and Ranganath and Ram from Taurus AnexCafe impresses Officials of Cyber Crime CellAnexCafe, an integrated Internet solution system from Xserve was presented to an August gathering at the office of the Core of Detectives. The meeting which took place on the 16th of February was attended by the Superintendent of Police and his team of 35 officers. An excellent product presentation made by our M.D., Mr. Gupta had a great impact on the audience. The COD's are serious about the AnexCafe as a means to check cyber crimes. The system enables the police to retrieve data to investigate cyber crimes cases much faster with more credible information than before. The product, which is a first of a kind in the country, has attracted a lot of attention and was covered by Vijay Times and Aaj Tak. With the addition of Anexcafe to the AnexGate series, we surely have an Ace in our product portfolio. Xserve makes St. Mark's "WIFI"Xserve India made their debut in the Wireless business by implementing their first Wi Fi solution at the Prestigious St Marks business hotel in Bangalore. The order, which was given to us on the 25th of February, did not come easy. The project started nearly a month ago amidst stiff competition from Sify, who were already providing Wi Fi to the hotel. After numerous demos and visits to the client, our technical and Product management teams tasted success. The technology implemented at the hotel is simple and user friendly, with a unique billing system, which can be customized for any environment. The total solution, which included the access points and the billing server, were provided by Xserve and the broadband connectivity by Airtel. Laptop World Roadshow: 24 & 25 Nov '04As a part of our brand building exercise, Xserve India Pvt. Ltd. also participated in a Roadshow at the Tavant offices in Koramangala. Fronted by one of our channel partner 'Laptop World', the event showcased a few of our products, and generated a few enquiries. ICC Meet 2004: Nov '04Xserve India participated in the ICC meet held during the month of November. Starting with the meet in Mumbai on 3 rd , followed by the one in N.Delhi on 5 th and finishing with the Bangalore meet on 9 th , this was the second time that we participated in this Intel event. We had displayed a range of products that included Notebooks, Desktop chassis, Acuta 4, 915 motherboards and the Digital Lifestyle products. Our stall generated a lot of interest among the channel members and we look forward to converting many of the enquiries soon. Equinox 2004: 6-7 Nov '04The inter-corporate cultural festival organized by Sonic Boom Event Co., was held on the 6 th and 7 th of November 2004 at the St. John's Auditorium, Koramangala. Xserve India today announced the opening of the ‘AOpen Shoppe’ retail store in the up market Gurgaon area on the 7th of August. This initiative is in association with its IT hardware channel Globex International. This is the first retail outlet for AOpen in this country, and will showcase the entire range of AOpen high-end PCs, notebooks and consumer peripherals .

Ltd. has successfully kickstarted their Bank Surveillance business by providing State of the Art Surveillance solutions to five branches of one of the leading Co-operative banks in Karnataka. Xserve India installed their 4 channel AcroSecure DVR 'LT-104' in Bangalore and Tumkur, and 16 channel DVR 'LT-016 Plus' in the Administrative branch office in Tumkur.
